OPEC leaders met in Cairo on Saturday to determine a market quota. While demand has been down, the organization made no decision to limit output. Leaders think a consensus for supply quotas may be made in December.

Scientists have discovered new rifts on the Antarctic ice shelf and they are concerned that the rifts could cause it to break away from Antarctic peninsula. It would be the largest ice shelf in the Antarctic region to break away.
